Mesa Verde was exceptional‼️
We’re in the southwest corner of Colorado. Love this area of the US. You got the desert and the mountains. 😍
While staying in Santa Fe we decided to day trip over to Taos to see the Earthship Biosphere community.
The Pecos people enjoyed a rich culture with inventive architecture and beautiful crafts. They also possessed an elaborate religious life, evidenced by the remains of over 20 ceremonial subterranean kivas, one of which you can descend a ladder into. Pretty cool!! The valley where this site sits is absolutely breathtaking. You quickly understand why the people thrived here and why the Spanish sought to rule it in the 1600s.
We rolled into Santa Fe whistling the theme to The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. 😗🤠😆
We fell in love with this city campground near the Coronado Historic site in Bernalillo, NM. 🔅〽️
